Description  

We act because everyone relies on the ocean to survive - from the air we breathe to the food we eat. We have ambitious plans to drive political, cultural and social change for our seas to support abundant marine wildlife, sustain livelihoods and unlock the investment in marine solutions for the climate crisis.  

We have big ambitions and to make these changes we need to nurture and grow income from our existing and new partnerships. If you’re a talented Trusts and Grants Manager with a proven track record of securing funds, then we want to hear from you.

Working within our Trusts & Grants team, you will expertly nurture a range of new trusts and grant relationships, both UK and international, and source for emerging areas of philanthropy, as well as steward our existing relationships to a high standard. You’ll provide your contribution to development of the fundraising strategies and work with our dedicated and passionate teams to translate their goals into reality with funding.

Partnership building: Has a track-record in developing sustained and productive relationships with trusts and grants organisations and produces compelling proposals that get results. Is resourceful and innovative – paving the way to new sources of funding.

Delivery: Listens with curiosity to create strong narratives from our conservation teams. Confident in contributing to strategies and initiatives to raise funds and awareness. Able to use your strong negotiating and influencing skills to nurture and foster relationships internally and externally.

Working with us: Takes an inclusive and equitable approach and values an ethical fundraising standard. Is a problem-solver and supports others and enjoys working with a team of passionate advocates for our ocean and environment.
