Are you passionate about providing young people with meaningful interventions to support them in realising their potential in school or college?

We are seeking applications for Mentors/Achievement Coaches to support the continued expansion of our Youth Programme. You will deliver bespoke services to increase the confidence, skills, well-being and prospects of young people.

With a relevant background, qualification or experience of working with young people, you will drive innovative and high-quality provision by coaching young people in order to inspire them, increase their resilience and raise their academic attainment.

Our Youth Mentors/Achievement Coaches work with vulnerable young people aged 15-19 years at risk of disengaging from education, employment or training. As a Youth Mentor/Achievement Coach, you will work with a caseload of young people in school and or in the community, on a one to one and small groups. You will facilitate young people’s personal and educational development, improving their mindset, soft skills and resilience in order to successfully transition and sustain post 16 destinations.

If you are passionate about facilitating young people’s development and would enjoy the autonomy of a role that allows you to design and deliver one to ones or group work with 15-19-year-olds based in school or college, we would like to hear from you.

Most of the roles will be based across the West London Boroughs of Harrow, Hounslow, Hillingdon, Hammersmith and Fulham, Ealing and Brent. To apply you must be willing to travel to these locations.

Key requirements: Please contact us if you have:

    • Have experience delivering impactful and engaging interventions to young people
    • Have a strong commitment to supporting vulnerable young people, with an understanding of applying equality and diversity, equal opportunity and inclusion to support the young person’s journey throughout the programme
    • Experience in holding a caseload of service users
    • Knowledge of the exclusion process and experience of working with young people at risk of exclusions, as well as their families
