About the Role

We are looking for a Development Manager, to oversee the strategic development and delivery of the HS2 ecological and environmental enhancement proposals for Wormwood Scrubs, ensuring its long term success and making lasting improvements to the ecological habitats in this Site of Nature Conservation Importance.

As part of the HS2 delivery programme, there is an outline proposal for alternative ecological mitigation on Wormwood Scrubs. The purpose of this role will be to develop this proposal into a series of projects and work packages to fulfil the requirements agreed between HS2 and LBHF. This will involve creating new habitats and overseeing the delivery and long term success of the proposal.

Key to your success will be your ability to provide essential strategic direction that ensures work is carried out on time, to budget and procured in a manner that provides value for money and essential quality assurance.

About you

We are looking for an experienced project manager to lead on the Wormwood Scrubs Alternative Ecological Mitigation Programme. 

The successful applicant will need to be highly motivated, passionate and experienced in delivering high quality ecological and environmental projects in accordance with project plans. An excellent communicator able to develop strong positive partnerships with key stakeholders internally and externally including High Speed 2 and the Wormwood Scrubs Charitable Trust.
