Description

We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic intern to work in our Wildlife team. The internship will be at our Warsaw office and you will have the opportunity to work with the team focusing on conservation issues.

You will be an integral member of the Strategic Litigation Programme, and contribute to ClientEarth’s efforts to use the power of law to protect the wildlife in Europe.

The internship will enable you to learn directly how environmental issues can be tackled through legal approaches. You will join our staff in regular learning and development events and be given full support in developing the skills needed to thrive in a professional environment. You will have the opportunity to hone your drafting skills for a variety of audiences and receive constructive feedback on your work from experienced professionals.

Role requirements

You will have a relevant degree in law or legal studies. Knowledge of EU and Polish environmental laws, and current issues in biodiversity conservation will be advantageous. This internship is focused primarily on legal analysis relating to the implementation of the EU Habitats Directive and to various threats facing wildlife across Europe.
