‘Wilder Connections’ Habitat Connectivity Project Officer

Full time - 5 days per week

Salary: £26,000 - £27,500 range until 31 March 2023 (18 month project)

Norfolk Wildlife Trust is looking for a Habitat Connectivity Project Officer to be part of the “Norfolk Claylands: Wilder Connections” project delivery team.

We are seeking a highly motivated, organised and experienced Habitat Connectivity Officer to take a leading role in delivering this exciting new project. In delivering ecological connectivity in the farmed landscape of south Norfolk, the project will focus on the ‘fabric’ of the countryside – its ponds, hedges, copses, trees and associated margins and meadows. The Habitat Connectivity Officer will use their technical skills and knowledge to identify opportunities and provide relevant advice and support to land managers, and deliver an ambitious programme of habitat restoration and creation.

Experience in landowner nature conservation advice and habitat restoration project delivery is essential.
