Description |
|
One of the key element of the Environment (Wales) Act is the Sustainable Management of Natural Resources which enables Wales’ resources to be managed in a more proactive, sustainable and joined-up way. The Water Framework Directive Advisor – Sustainable Management of Natural Resources (SMNR) role will be responsible for supporting the work of Natural Resources Wales in developing our approach for water resource management and water quality. The post will be pivotal in supporting the development of Area Statements, evidence for Public Services Boards and readiness for the second State of the Natural Resources Report. This will require the ability to work with a large range of Welsh Government and NRW colleagues often in collaboration with external stakeholders.
