Description  

The Wales Liaison Officer post is a focal point for relationships between JNCC and Welsh bodies, primarily Welsh Government and Natural Resources Wales (NRW). The post will ensure that JNCC’s work, particularly on biodiversity and ecosystem evidence, meets Welsh requirements for a robust evidence base in the context of natural resources and local initiatives (e.g. area statements). In addition, the Wales Liaison Officer will also have responsibility for the delivery of specific projects and will contribute to projects aligned with their expertise.

The post will be based in Natural Resources Wales – Ty Cambria, Cardiff (though other locations, such as Aberystwyth and Bangor, in Welsh Government and/or Natural Resources Wales offices may be considered).
