Volunteer Coordinator

Eden has a fantastic team of over 190 committed, passionate volunteers and we’re looking for a dedicated and professional person with a flair for communicating to coordinate the team on a part time basis.  You will ensure the administration of the programme is seamless whilst being the first point of contact for our volunteers each day to ensure the team are adequately briefed and deployed.  You will also be responsible for recruiting and welcoming new volunteers to Eden which will include providing short welcome briefings and ensuring the team have suitable uniform and PPE to enable them to carry out their role. 

The ideal candidate will be a self starter who is able to work alone using their own initiative.  You will have a confident, yet friendly manner and have the ability to communicate information concisely both to a group and in a one to one situation. We are looking for someone who is open minded, non judgemental and passionate about promoting diversity.  Evening and weekend work will be required very occasionally, mainly throughout the Eden Sessions period during late Spring/early Summer
