Groundwork London aims to inspire and support volunteering by encouraging people into volunteering, and by building the knowledge, skills and resources of volunteer involving organisations (VIOs).
Groundwork is seeking an individual who is passionate about volunteering and committed to building the capacity of VIOs to support volunteers. The postholder will coordinate the delivery of a range of interactive courses for our clients, such as Best Practice in Volunteer Management; Inclusive Volunteering; Volunteer Recruitment and Retention and Measuring Impact.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of best practice in Volunteer Management, be experienced in the development of relevant workshop content and able to train others in delivering workshops and training. The postholder will be a confident communicator, with strong presentation skills.
Furthermore, the postholder will have experience in coordinating events and campaigns and a knowledge of employee supported volunteering programmes. Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills, with strong MS office, database administration, data analysis and use of social media are essential to the role.
