Technical Officer - Air Quality and Noise

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Environment Agency team providing technical expertise and leadership on air dispersion and noise modelling. We provide regulatory advice to support permitting, compliance and major incidents, helping protect the local population and ecological sites from regulated industry. You will help us to deliver a cleaner, healthier environment to protect people and wildlife.

As a technical officer you will work in a team of other professionals to review and interpret air quality and/or noise impact assessments using predictive modelling software. This will include carrying out complex modelling studies, developing software tools and providing advice and training to operational colleagues.
