We have an opportunity within our Global Programmes Department for a Technical Adviser - Wildlife. They will be responsible for leading the development and engagement of WWF-UK’s wildlife conservation work in relation to climate change and to conservation technology, and keeping abreast of wildlife knowledge to improve communication and fundraising materials. They will also be acting as the lead for WWF-UK on UK-focused projects and partnerships and some international projects, relating to illegal wildlife trade.
The suitable candidate will be able to demonstrate a relevant qualification and/or experience in this subject area. They will have strong influencing skills and experience of synthesising complex information, regulations and policies and translate into impactful advice and communications. These will be supported by up-to-date knowledge of key specialism and the relevant laws or external developments that govern it.
