Natural England Careers - Natural England Careers

Everything’s better with nature. You included.

At Natural England, we’re here to make sure people and nature can thrive.

We work collaboratively with a wide range of partners, stakeholders, and customers to manage and conserve the Natural Environment.

We’re hiring all kinds of professionals to secure a healthy natural environment for everyone.

Who we are:

We’re the Government’s advisor for the natural environment in England. We help to protect and restore our natural world for present and future generations through sustainable development.

We work on a wide range of projects, from promoting nature conservation and protecting biodiversity to encouraging open-air recreation and providing access to environmental study facilities.

We support the Government’s 25-year environment plan, which sets out goals for leaving the environment in a better state within a generation.

We aim for:

  • a well-managed Nature Recovery Network across land, water and sea;
  • nature-based solutions contributing fully to tackling environmental threats;
  • improvements in the natural capital to drive sustainable economic growth;
  • partnerships to help nature’s recovery.

Our projects are many and varied: from a new £10m fund to drive private sector investment in nature to the launch of the new Countryside Code. Find out more about Natural England.
