Description  

 The Broads is an internationally important and protected wetland environment with status equivalent to a national park. The area is of special value for its wildlife and landscape beauty and for its important navigation interest managing the iconic Broads waterways. We are seeking an outstanding professional enthusiastic and committed individual to fill this exciting opportunity in the Ranger team, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise in countryside and waterways management.  
 
The successful candidate will encourage and ensure safe and proper use of the Broads area by means of patrolling, liaison, education and enforcement on both land and water. You should have knowledge of the Broads, good boat handling skills and experience dealing with emergencies. The successful applicant will also need to be able to show aptitude in practical conservation work, be able to lead teams of staff and volunteers and demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide range of people.
