Description

Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH), Amphibian and Reptile Conservation, The Bat Conservation Trust, Bumblebee Conservation Trust, Buglife, Butterfly Conservation, Plantlife and RSPB Scotland have formed a partnership to develop an exciting new programme of work, Species on the Edge (SotE), to safeguard a suite of nationally and internationally important species around Scotland’s coasts and islands. Working collaboratively, the partnership aims to deliver an ambitious four and a half year programme of work including knowledge improvement, habitat management, species restoration, community engagement and innovative technology to create an enduring legacy for Scotland’s environment.

Funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) the partnership is seeking four skilled and enthusiastic individuals to lead a suite of development work to help build the second stage NLHF application between October 2020 and September 2021. These posts will be hosted by one of the partner organisations but will be expected to work in close collaboration with a range of others within the SotE partnership.

This is a unique and excellent opportunity to gain experience working with a range of NGOs, species and habitats and provide an essential contribution to this ground breaking and impactful project.
