This is not your standard analyst role. We are a young dynamic growing team who are looking for innovative thinkers who can think outside the square and who want the opportunity to make a measurable change.

As part of the interface between the development of regulatory policy and its implementation for New Zealand inshore fisheries management, you will be exposed to a diverse range of stakeholders from Senior Ministers to recreational fishers, so good communication skills are a must.

We also offer you exposure to, and the opportunity to develop and lead, important pieces of work for New Zealand's economic health and identity to help grow value of New Zealand's inshore fisheries resources.

To be successful in this role you will need a tertiary qualification in either economics, law, fisheries, or biological sciences; resource management or a related discipline, as well as relevant experience as a policy analyst or in a similar working environment.
