FSC is an educational charity that delivers its mission of ‘Bringing Environmental Understanding to All’ via its network of Field Centres throughout the United Kingdom. We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Tutor at our residential Centre FSC Rhyd-y-creuau, Betws-y-coed, Conwy, LL24 0HB.
In this important and challenging role you will develop, plan and deliver ‘out-of-classroom learning’ activities to a wide ranging audience; engaging and enthusing students to assist FSC achieve their goal of ‘Inspiring Environmental Understanding through first-hand experience’. You will be expected to provide effective leadership in relation to education for sustainability and the development and monitoring of curriculum resources. Previous experience of developing and delivering outstanding learning is essential, as is knowledge of the National Curriculum and a degree in Geography, Environmental Science, or closely allied discipline.
FSC Salary Grade: scale points 12 – 15, currently £20,089 - £22,925 p.a.
