Senior Ecologists (x2) | Manchester

We are a small, friendly team of consultant ecologists, based close to Piccadilly Station, Manchester.

We have a very strong work stream and a wide range of projects across all parts of the UK.

We are looking for Senior Ecologists to join the team.

The role would suit someone with 5+ years of experience in consultancy and the following attributes:

• Motivated and professional attitude – commercially aware.
• Competent at planning and undertaking a range of surveys and assessments.
• Strong report writing skills – able to produce high quality reports.
• Good communication skills – with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
• Good understanding of planning policy and legislation.
• Ability to manage small- to medium-scale projects.
• Ability to mentor junior ecologists.
• At least one specialism.
• Full UK driving licence and own car.

The following attributes would be advantageous:

• Protected species survey licences
• Experience of mitigation licensing
• Full CIEEM membership
