Senior Ecologist, London – Multidisciplinary Environmental Consultancy.

Due to a period of sustained growth, a UK leading environmental consultancy have asked Zodiac Recruitment to help them in their search for a new Senior Ecologist for their team based in the centre of London.

This opportunity will particularly suit ambitious Ecologists, looking to join a UK recognised company at Senior grade and progress internally within the company eventually progressing to Principal and Associate grades.

Our client is a market leading expert in providing environmental consultancy, with offices strategically placed across the UK. This award-winning establishment comes with an excellent reputation and has a fantastic team of Ecologists, Landscape Architects, Arboriculturalists and other Environmental Consultants in place to learn from and develop with.

Upon joining this organisation, you will receive a competitive salary (between £28,000 to £38,000) coupled with a company tailored benefits package. You will also receive direct support from the office Director, helping to develop your skill set and progress you into a more Senior position within the company.

Our client is specifically in the market for applicants with an MSc background in an environmental field, coupled with at least 4 years’ professional ecological consultancy experience. This will demonstrate a strong working knowledge of UK botanical surveys including Phase 1 surveys, Extended Phase 1 surveys and NVC surveys. You will have proven your leadership qualities within the field and also experience writing HRA’s and EcIA’s. You will also hold a full UK driving licence and Associate/Full CIEEM membership. Protected species licences held should include one of Bat, GCN or Dormice.
