TMA are seeking a Senior Ecologist to complement our team and get involved in the further development of this Gold Standard Company.

We are looking for an experienced ecologist capable of undertaking and managing a variety of field surveys and mitigation and communicating effectively to clients. The successful candidate will enjoy a variety of site and office work.

TMA Ecology are involved in a wide range of projects including for utilities companies, house builders and local authorities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bat Survey Licence (Level 2) essential

  • Minimum four years’ experience in ecological consultancy

  • Strong skills in Phase 1 Habitat Assessment and Protected Species Surveys

  • Good knowledge of British flora and fauna

  • Detailed understanding of wildlife legislation and the planning system

  • Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail

  • Experience of successfully applying for and implementing European Protected Species Mitigation Licences would be particularly desirable

  • Full driving licence?
