We require an individual who is passionate about wildlife and has a broad skill set that can deliver on both conservation land management and also providing educational activities to a varied audience.

You will be assisting the Ranger in managing Roding Valley Meadows Nature Reserve SSSI. As part of this you will be expected to successfully oversee the volunteer work parties. Additionally, you will be expected to lead on developing and running education and community activities at the nearby Grange Farm Meadows.

We are looking for someone who has:-

• Qualification in Conservation, Biology or similarly related discipline, or experience in making land management decisions to benefit wildlife and people
• Knowledge of wildlife ecology
• Experience in undertaking land management practices
• Experience of setting up and running educational activities
• Understanding of issues relating to child safety
• Proven IT skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
• Proven experience of running and leading events and giving talks
• Experience and or ability to oversee volunteers to carry out practical task.
