As statutory advisor on nature conservation to the UK Government and the Devolved Administrations, JNCC are looking for a full time Review Manager based in Peterborough. This is a fixed term appointment until 29 March 2019.
This post will be responsible, alongside internal and external stakeholders, for conducting a thorough review of the terrestrial surveillance portfolio at JNCC. JNCC works with partners to deliver a programme of terrestrial biodiversity surveillance across the UK. The data and analyses from this programme are the evidence base for policy development, evaluation and decision-making at a range of scales.
The position advertised would require someone with good understanding of survey design with a desire to instigate change, based on rigorous scientific, policy risk, and technology assessments and an ability to work collaboratively with partners.
