Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Public Rights of Way and Country Parks Team at Devon County Council and play a key part in transforming Stover Country Park.  Thanks to funding support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, National Highways, and our local partners, Devon County Council is about to commence work on the 3-year delivery phase project to revitalise the biodiversity, historic landscape, and recreational value of Stover Park.

This nationally important parkland is Grade II registered, and includes a 10-acre naturalised freshwater lake, designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest due to importance for dragonflies and invertebrates.  Project activities involve desilting the lake, conserving the granite gatehouse, upgrading the visitor/discovery centre, and enhancing visitor welcome and enjoyment, alongside delivering an ambitious activities plan.

As Project and Volunteer Administrator you will be working across a range of activities providing administrative, business, and technical support to help deliver the programmes of work.  With excellent organisational and team working skills, you will have good experience in administration and of working in a customer service environment.

Interviews are scheduled for either 15th or 16th December.

For an informal discussion, please contact Richard Walton on (01392) 383000 or Laura Whitehouse on 01392 382079
