Description

This project aims to bring together disparate datasets on the state of the path network in Scotland in order to form a comprehensive digital geo-stack, with user-experience at its heart, enabling many more people to readily find paths in their local area and beyond.

As Project Manager for Mapping Scotland’s Paths, this role will form a pivotal function within the Mapping Scotland’s Paths project, building and maintaining relationships with external dataset-donators, colleagues in Data & Digital and embed learnings from the proof of concept into advocacy plans for the wider Out There campaign. In addition, the opportunity to learn and test approaches in Scotland will support future developments of our digital platforms at GB level.  The role will be responsible for planning and managing the proof of concept for Mapping Scotland’s Paths, and integrating this into the wider communications and advocacy plans for the Out There campaign.
