A new, exciting, and challenging position of Project Delivery Lead has now been created and we are seeking applications from experienced, forward thinking individuals to join our team.

Primary purpose of the role: The primary purpose of this role will be to proactively lead and manage the strategic panning and delivery of a number of projects within agreed timeframes and within budget.

About the role

Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and will be expected to build and develop motivated, accountable and effective teams; delivering projects to time and budget.

The role requires someone with good leadership experience who will oversee the coordination and management of personal and other resources. The building of motivated, accountable and effective teams is a very important part of the role.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Ensure reporting criteria and timelines are in place on all projects
  • Display sound technical leadership and oversee the implementation of growth strategies aligned to the company’s values, visions and business plan
  • Ensure reporting criteria and timelines are in place on all projects
  • Engaging with staff and empowering them to deliver and grow their careers
  • Conducting regularly scheduled 121s with staff to ensure timely feedback.

What experience & qualifications will you require?

  • Previous landscape, commercial or ecological project experience within the environmental sector
  • Degree educated within project management, or related subject would be ideal
  • Membership of a professional association (s) that is relevant to the role
  • A full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle will also be essential for the position.
