Coillte has been a leading player in the wind energy sector in Ireland for the past 20 years and has a strong track record in the development of windfarm projects.

Coillte’s wind energy business is in an exciting new phase of growth. In line with its strategic ambition to leverage opportunities across the full extent of the wind industry value chain, Coillte has been building out its pipeline of Gate 3 wind farm projects to become a generator of renewable electricity in conjunction with its co-development partners.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Project Construction Manager to project manage large scale multi-contract Coillte Wind Energy projects through the project pre-construction, project funding and construction stages to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery to the requisite Standards and a proactive approach to management of Project Risks.

The ideal candidate will have a track record in project management leading multi-disciplinary teams in large-scale Infrastructure Project Delivery, preferably in a Wind Energy environment, with a record of strong performance management and achievement.  

The role involves rresponsibility for managing the tender/negotiation process, preparing the project delivery plan, development and implementation of the Community Engagement Plan and implementation of best practice in stakeholder management and consultation, project controls, and performance management.

The successful candidate will ensure robust management of project schedule, budget and risk register, to ensure projects delivered on-time, on-budget to the requisite standards. 

The ideal candidate will be hold a degree in Engineering (or relevant discipline) and have excellent interpersonal, people management with excellent verbal and written communication and reporting skills.

This role is offered on a Fixed Term 3 year contract basis based in Newtownmountkennedy, Co. Wicklow.
