Do you want to be the leader of a specialist mammal conservation team and lay the foundations for an exciting programme of work in the UK? Do you want a new challenge that opens doors to more and bigger projects, develops new partnerships and pushes the boundaries of what is possible? If you do then we need you.

The Vincent Wildlife Trust is expanding. As a result of funding from the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, two new Programme Manager posts have been created – one for a mustelid programme and one for a bats programme: two categories of species in which the Trust specialises.

As a national specialist NGO for terrestrial mammal conservation in the UK, these posts offer an exciting opportunity for career conservationists. You will need to bring to the table a combination of proven management capabilities, along with a passion for mammal conservation.  You will have a good knowledge of the ecological needs of threatened mammals and have a persistent approach to finding conservation solutions working with the public and key stakeholders.

Your primary purpose will be to drive forward our programme of activities, build on existing success and create new projects and areas of work to widen the Trust’s impact and profile.

In return, the Trust offers a quality employment package, the chance for Continued Professional Development, the learning of new skills and experiences and the opportunity of trips abroad.
