We are looking for a highly motivated and conscientious Programme Administrator to work flexibly across programmes within the Centre. You will be responsible for providing extensive administrative support to a team of technical staff and assist with the implementation of a wide range of projects.  You will meet with other Programme Administrators and the Management Information Officer to maintain effective administration processes and cross-programmatic consistency.

As Project Administration Assistant, you will use your excellent organisational and administrative skills to compile financial and technical reports and attend various meetings and events, liaising with clients and partners. You will support with the management of contracting and reporting for projects, responding to requests for information both internally and externally, alongside maintaining computer and paper filing systems.

You will be highly organised, flexible in approach and able to effectively manage multiple tasks and requests. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to use your initiative to make improvements. You will demonstrate a professional approach and be capable of developing an excellent knowledge of the centres policies and procedures.  Knowledge of key biodiversity issues and concepts; experience in coordinating partners, networks, stakeholder groups or steering committees and working internationally; and fluency in another UN language would be an advantage.
