In line with the strategic objectives of the Secretary-General, the core mission of the OECD’s Environment Directorate is to help countries to design environmental policies that are both economically efficient and effective at achieving their environmental objectives. OECD’s climate change work is focusing on how to move countries to a low-carbon and climate resilient pathway, and how to improve the effectiveness of the global climate regime. The Climate, Biodiversity and Water division of the OECD Environment Directorate (ENV/CBW) seeks an experienced and motivated analyst to develop, undertake and deliver policy-relevant research and analysis on climate change adaptation in OECD countries. S/he would also contribute to the analysis on integrating climate change adaptation into development co-operation. The selected candidate will work under the supervision of the Team Lead for Adaptation, within the Climate, Biodiversity and Water Division.

13 months fixed term, with the possibility of renewal.
•Depending on level of experience, monthly salary starts at either 5,500 EUR or 6,800 EUR, plus allowances based on eligibility, exempt of French income tax. Please note, the appointment may be made at a lower grade based on the qualifications and professional experience of the selected applicant.
