The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is one of 15 National Trails in England and Wales and provides unrivalled walking opportunities to explore the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. You can help to manage the Coast Path to ensure that people continue to enjoy the spectacular natural landscape of Britain’s only true coastal national park.

Public Rights of Way Officer - Temporary two year contract

Salary £20,253 - £24,472

(starting salary dependent on relevant skills and experience)

This is a great opportunity to join the access and rights of way team and gain valuable experience in the management of public paths and access to the countryside. As a Welsh speaking public rights of way officer you will be able to provide the technical and administrative support to help ensure the maintenance of the extensive network of public paths in the National Park and undertake legal procedures to manage, adapt and improve the network. This post is primarily office based at the National Park Authority headquarters, Pembroke Dock, however, field work will be required on occasions in our stunning natural landscape.

We are looking for a motivated, quick leaner who is map literate, with good IT skills and the ability to work with the minimum of supervision.  Experience in the management of countryside access and/or public rights of way would be an advantage.
