Contractual hours: 37

Do you want to be involved in guiding the future of peatland restoration across Scotland’s forests and land?

We’re looking for practical, creative, forward-thinking people; with work experience in an ecological or land management role, to join our National team.

You will advise regional peatland staff on restoration plans, foster collaboration to deliver sustainable peatland management and restoration programmes, and support knowledge exchange between internal staff and external bodies. You will be responsible for development and ‘roll-out’ of ‘one to many’ training on guidance and a toolkit of resources, in partnership with our Learning & Development Programme.

National Roles

The Planning and Environment national team ensures Scotland’s national forests and land are looked after, playing their part in tackling climate change, and their biodiversity is protected and enhanced. Within this team are eight staff that support peatland programme management & delivery, GIS functions, and specialist technical advice.
