Description

£25,295.  37 hpw. Fixed term contract for up to 5 years (funding). Based at The Carnegie, Thetford.

The Brecks is a very special part of Norfolk and Suffolk. We need someone to undertake project delivery within a small team delivering a series of exciting heritage conservation and community engagement projects as part of The Brecks Fen Edge and Rivers Landscape Partnership Scheme (BFER).

You will support the efficient delivery of the scheme programmes and projects and liaise with project partners to ensure a joined-up approach to the delivery of the overall scheme, enabling the effective completion of the scheme objectives on time and on budget.

Working as part of a small, motivated and dynamic team, you will need to have a degree or equivalent in a relevant subject, be able to plan and organise your own workload, have excellent IT skills and be able to communicate well with a wide variety of audiences.

This organisation positively encourages the use of technology to communicate and engage, but in this role you will need to operate across a wide and rural area, so you must either hold a full and current driving licence and have access to personal transport or meet the mobility requirements of the role through other reasonable and suitable means.

For an informal discussion only, please contact Nick Dickson on (01473) 264628.

Apply online at: www.suffolkjobsdirect.org or call 0345 601 4412 quoting the job ref.

Closing date: 23.30pm, 15 December 2019.

This authority is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. DBS checks or police vetting will be required for relevant posts. Suffolk County Council - welcoming diversity.
