We are embarking on an exciting new partnership with local councils and Naturespace to provide a sustainable and strategic approach to Great Crested Newt conservation through district licencing.
We need an experienced conservationist with a passion for a strategic approach to conservation to support local planning authorities to implement the requirements of the district licencing system through the development management processes.
You will need…
- Understanding of Ecological Impact Assessments
- Experience of Great Crested Newt surveys and mitigation
- Conservation Experience
- Understanding of the planning system
Initially recruitment is for one post but we expect this to grow so we will hold a reserve list for 6 months.
This role can be based in either Coleford or Cirencester, please state in your cover letter if you have a preference for either site. Please also let us know if you hold a full UK Driving Licence and have access to a vehicle for work.
