Description

Join our team of rangers which provides the New Forest National Park Authority with first points of contact throughout the National Park and its surrounding communities

You will provide face-to-face interaction with members of the public, helping them to enjoy and understand what makes the National Park special and encourage a sense of care and responsibility while avoiding negative impacts.

You will use our mobile information unit, give talks and guided walks, run seasonal activities, and attend local community events. There will be resources to prepare, liaising with local businesses which need our literature, visitor surveys to do and potential for some more practical projects.

We’re looking for an experienced individual who is outgoing, highly motivated, innovative, and able to respond to the challenges of working with members of the public, partner organisations and local communities.
