The Ramblers is looking for a highly skilled Membership acquisition Officer. This is a marketing, business development, sales role where you will be expected to help grow the Ramblers membership base across all categories of membership through the employment of a wide breadth of recruitment tactics. This position is part of the Services division reporting to the Head of Recruitment and Retention.
Essential Requirements include:

Skilled researcher, able to profile potential and existing audiences
-
Ability to monitor expenditure budgets and track income
-
Competent in the use of CRM database for relationship management, lead generation and conversion
-
Competence in the use of IT tools including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
-
Proven experience of creating pipeline leads and converting sales
-
Proven experience of creating recruitment journeys across a range of channels

Experience of working as part of a project team
-
Experience using a CMS (Content management system) and bulk email tools

Able to work independently and to tight deadline
-
Able to work flexible and unsocial hours when required
