10 days per annum; remuneration of £249.74 per day.
Sound research and informed scientific advice form an essential basis for many of the practical and policy decisions that the SNH Board is required to make in the course of its deliberations. As part of SNH’s SAC you will provide scientific advice and technical expertise to the SNH Board and staff – helping to reinforce SNH’s credibility. You will demonstrate scientific leadership and/or expertise at a strategic level. Applications are in particularly welcomed from people with a background in several Scottish habitats and faunal groups, and a diversity of research interests relevant to SNH’s remit, in particular:
Freshwater ecology, marine renewables, mammal ecology, climate change, health and the environment, animal welfare, social sciences, economics and/or genetics.
