Are you an experienced and dynamic Communications or Marketing professional wanting to make a genuine difference through your work? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

As a vital member of our Senior Management Team, you will play a leading role in shaping and delivering our marketing, communication and PR activities across our three main areas of work: Creating Better Places, Improving People’s Prospects and Greener Living & Working.

You'll be an established, hands-on marketing and / or communications professional with at least 4 years experience of shaping and delivering marketing and communications strategies for one or more organisations. Having worked with external clients, partners or funders to ensure their communications requirements are met is also desirable for this role.

You should have relevant experience of creating a broad range of cost-effective targeted brand campaigns utilising print, broadcast, social media and events. Experience of CMS, website and social media content management, and in shaping and implementing integrated digital strategies are essential for this role.
Leading a team of four, you will oversee and coordinate all project communications and PR activity in the organisation. You will work closely with our Communities, Youth, Landscape, Employment and Environmental Services teams; acting as the guardian of our Groundwork brand whilst ensuring the communications needs of our partners, funders and clients are fully met.

You should possess strong communication and networking skills, as you will be expected to build relationships with, and pitch wide-ranging concepts and stories to journalists, project partners and other stakeholders on a regular basis. You will have responsibility for producing and communicating compelling human interest stories showcasing Groundwork's impact in the capital.

You will also be required to oversee the recording of Communications & PR related analytics and KPIs and report on these to Senior Management and The Board of Trustees as required.
