Are you an Ecologist with a love of wildlife who wants to make a positive difference? If the answer is yes, read on…
Essex Wildlife Trust are the county’s leading conservation charity, committed to protecting wildlife and inspiring a lifelong love of nature; and we would love you to join our dedicated and enthusiastic team.
We are committed to evidence-based management of our land. To do this we need accurate ecological information to determine that we are maximising the potential of our sites. In this role you lead on the deployment of an innovative ecological monitoring programme on EWT landholdings (8400ha across 89 sites) and raise the profile and skill base of ecological monitoring. You will line manage two assistant Ecologists; collate and present information and will have the confidence and knowledge to advise colleagues and inform site management planning.
If you have experience of ecological monitoring covering a range of lowland taxa and habitats and you would like to work at a Sunday Times Top 100 Best Company and you feel you would fit in our friendly, committed, passionate and professional organisation then we would love to hear from you.
