Junior Ecologist

The key objective of this role is to support Coillte’s business by conducting appropriate assessment for planned forestry operations. Will be responsible for producing pre-screening reports (PSRs) and Natura Impact Statements (NISs) for forestry sites, in conjunction with Coillte Forest in-house Ecology Team and a team of ecological consultants. Will also assist in the delivery of Coillte’s nature conservation programme across Coillte Forest, and will be actively involved in planning, managing and monitoring sites of nature conservation value on the Coillte estate, with the ability to influence plans as appropriate.
