IEEP is seeking an enthusiastic intern to support the institute’s Global Programme during autumn 2019.
Successful internship applicants will support the Global Programme in developing new and ongoing projects, assisting with research, and supporting the programme’s outreach and communication.
The internship provides an excellent opportunity for hands-on learning across a range of topical environmental policy themes, mentored by highly experienced professionals on EU environmental policy. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Head of Programme but also in close cooperation with other IEEP Programmes and the institute’s Communications Team.
The Global Programme works on several themes, all under the umbrella of supporting the implementation of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This includes, for example, the further development and implementation of the EU’s SDG policy framework, environmental aspects of trade, climate change and climate security, resource use and circular economy, biodiversity and ecosystem services.
