- Degree level qualification in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- Experience of working successfully at a strategic level including developing business plans, and project management.
- Experience in leading cross functional teams and programme delivery programme implementation, staff management and leadership.
- Policy Development or grant application experience.
- An understanding of key issues relevant to biodiversity conservation combined with global or overseas work experience would be beneficial.
- The successful candidate will also have experience of working with HR & Finance to implement corporate policies and procedures such as financial, HR and risk management.
- Current or previous people management experience is essential as is the ability to work with a wide range of people from different cultures.
- An understanding of and interest in conservation issues.

Please note: The position is initially offered as a full-time, 2 years fixed-term contract with the possibility of the position becoming permanent. The working hours are a basic 37.5 hours a week and is based at ZSL Main Office in Regents Park. The position may also require working away from the main office, either at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo or be required to carry out visits to external conferences, zsl overseas offices and organisations as and when necessary.
