Description  

Applications are invited for the posts of Green Infrastructure (GI) Project Manager, within the Countryside and Wildlife Team of Neath Port Talbot CBC. We have secured funding from Welsh Government through the Enabling Natural Resources and Well-being Grant to deliver the South West Wales Green Infrastructure Project, a partnership project with Swansea Council, Carmarthenshire County Council, Coed Lleol and Cwmaman Town Council. The European Union, through Welsh Ministers, is part-funding this project. This is a multi-disciplinary project, taking a strategic approach to the maintenance, enhancement and creation of green infrastructure and biodiversity resource, for the benefit of people, the economy and wildlife.

The Project Manager will be responsible for supervision of the GI Project Team and project delivery in Neath Port Talbot, and ensuring the grant requirements are met across the region.

The post holder will be expected to work with a range of partners and stakeholders, and to build on working relationships within the organisation(s) to further the aims of the project.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to deliver this exciting and ambitious project.

Candidates must also have the ability to travel to site and to attend meetings as necessary.

The post requires a relevant degree or equivalent in and environmental-related subject.

Welsh language skills are desirable.

Bydd disgwyl i ddeilydd y swydd weithio gydag amrywiaeth o bartneriaid a rhanddeiliaid, ac adeiladu ar berthnasoedd gwaith o fewn y sefydliad(au) i hyrwyddo nodau'r prosiect.

Rydym yn chwilio am unigolyn llawn cymhelliad i gyflwyno’r prosiect cyffrous ac uchelgeisiol hwn.

Rhaid bod gan ymgeiswyr hefyd y gallu i deithio i safle a mynychu cyfarfodydd yn ôl y galw.

Mae'r swydd yn galw am radd neu gymhwyster cyfatebol mewn pwnc amgylcheddol.

Mae sgiliau yn y Gymraeg yn ddymunol.

Gellir cyflwyno ceisiadau yn Gymraeg ac ni fyddant yn cael eu trin yn llai ffafriol na chais a gyflwynir yn Saesneg.
