Groundwork London hosts the national Groundwork Geographic Information Systems (GIS) team, who work directly with a range of clients requiring access to GIS, including charities, public bodies and private limited companies. We are also a specialist resource centre for the different parts of Groundwork, delivering training and remote support to our staff around the country.
We are seeking a GIS Officer to join our award-winning team and apply their GIS experience and wider data management skills to work with people from a range of disciplines. The successful candidate will deliver a variety of projects, from neighbourhood and community mapping, analysis of national datasets to customer engagement and data management / analysis and visualizations.
In addition to your extensive technical skills, you will be an excellent communicator able to build and manage relationships with clients, partners and staff and manage your projects to time and budget. You will have the ability to help develop the team’s services, and the vision to find creative solutions to problems.
This role would suit a recent Graduate or individual in the early stages of their career who is keen to take on challenging tasks while further developing their GIS and data analysis skills on-the-job and by utilising the training opportunities provided.
