General Manager (Fundraising)
Permanent contract
Full time (37.5 hours a week)

Salary £32,500 per annum rising to £33,000 per annum (after completion of probation)

 

Are you an experienced and successful manager, who would like to manage a team and learn about fundraising?

 

Would you like to bring your management skills to Essex Wildlife Trust?  We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic manager to inspire, lead, develop and nurture the fundraising team. 

 

You will begin the role mainly as team manager, however, you will also receive vocational training, mentoring and coaching in all aspects of fundraising and be expected to study for the Institute of Fundraising – Certificate in Fundraising, after which you will take on the fundraising aspects of this role.

 

Essex Wildlife Trust is the county’s leading conservation charity.  It has more than 37,000 members, manages and protects over 8,400 acres of land on 87 nature reserves and 2 nature parks and runs 11 visitor centres.  The aim of Essex Wildlife Trust is to Protect Wildlife for the Future and for the People of Essex. This exciting new role will be based at Abbotts Hall Farm.
