Salary: circa £32,000 
37.5 hours per week

Groundwork London is a leading social and environmental regeneration charity.  We deliver over 500 projects each year including programmes designed to coach and support young people to stay in education, gain new skills and secure employment.

We are now seeking a Gang Prevention Programme Manager to support the continued expansion of our Youth Programme. You will directly manage a contract that will work in selected London PRU’s and AEP’s to support young people (15-16 year olds) who are involved in gangs and youth violence or at risk of being involved. The programme is designed to increase the confidence, skills, well-being and prospects and support them in not becoming involved with, or to free themselves from gangs and to achieve their potential through education and training.

Passionate about young people and with relevant experience, your central focus will be to manage resources and ensure service delivery targets are met to the highest possible standards of the Trust and our partners.  You will have the ability to plan and manage complex work and support programmes, ensuring effective project monitoring and evaluation and fulfillment of our contractual obligations.

With a relevant background and excellent interpersonal skills, you will recruit and manage Groundwork’s delivery team and manage the contracts with our four delivery partners. You will also progress and maintain positive relationships with the funder, partners, employers and educational establishments to achieve the best possible outcomes for the young people we support.
