As our Fundraising Officer you’ll play an important part in helping us achieve our aims by securing funding towards our team’s annual income targets and by managing an ongoing portfolio of projects in need of funding. This is a new role, presenting a fantastic opportunity to join our supportive, lively and expanding team of passionate fundraisers! You will in particular focus on charitable trusts and foundation grants; you’ll research and identify suitable income sources before making approaches to the relevant funders and partners.
We’re looking for an experienced fundraiser with a successful track record in at least one of the following areas: identifying funding opportunities; securing major grant funding; and winning statutory contract tenders. Alongside this relevant experience, you will also possess an ability to work to tight deadlines prioritising multiple tasks, and will be a natural team player with excellent written and spoken English.
The role will involve working alongside our friendly and dedicated delivery team to prepare and write compelling fundraising proposals, including large bids such as Lottery applications.
