Groundwork London is an environmental regeneration charity that works with communities across the capital supporting them to create better places to live and work in a greener, more sustainable way and to improve their economic prospects. As our Fundraising Coordinator you’ll play an important part in helping us achieve our aims by securing funding for our annual income targets and by managing an ongoing portfolio of projects in need of funding. You will in particular focus on charitable trusts and foundation grants; you’ll research and identify suitable income sources before making approaches to the relevant funders and partners.
We’re looking for an experienced fundraiser with a successful track record in at least two of the following areas: identifying funding opportunities; securing major grant funding; and winning statutory contract tenders. With highly relevant experience you will be able to get to grips with complex information quickly and easily. You will also need to be a real team player with excellent written and spoken English.
The role will involve preparing and writing fundraising proposals, including large bids such as Lottery applications. We want to hear from you if you would like to bring your keys skills and innovation to play a key role in making London communities more sustainable, healthy and safe.
