The Job: The post holder will lead the delivery stage of the Conservation and Wildlife projects being delivered as part of the Fifth Continent Landscape Partnership Scheme funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

You: will be experienced in working with Landowners, in particular Farming communities. Be capable in managing and delivering practical conservation work days; Be able to demonstrate experience of writing and  implementing conservation management plans; Have reasonable identification skills of a range of taxa; Be experienced in  working with volunteers, including experience of tool management and maintenance and delivering training sessions in safe practice and conduct using tools; Able to prioritise workload and be highly organised; have an enthusiastic, engaging, tenacious and positive ‘can do’ attitude and a creative mind set; and a passion for making a difference for wildlife

The Biodiversity Officer will work closely with the Scheme Manager, Partner Organisation’s, Communities and other key members of staff to deliver the projects, identify additional match funding opportunities and ensure all reporting to the Scheme Manager is carried out effectively. You will be based in the heart of Romney Marsh at KWT’s Romney Marsh Visitor Centre.
