Field Assistants for Tropical Bird Research

This project is looking for volunteer field assistants to work with tropical birds in lowland tropical rainforest of south-eastern, Peru from 1st June to 1st September, 2014 (application deadline: 1st April, 2014). The research is centered on the behavioural and community ecology of mixed species bird flocks.

This is a great opportunity for students wanting to pursue a career in ecology. Opportunities for students to elaborate thesis projects are available, and such students are strongly encouraged to apply.

In-country transport to and from the field site as well as expenses while at the field site will be covered by the project.
