Description  

Greenpeace UK are looking for an experienced fundraising manager to oversee their festival and roaming fundraising teams across the UK.

Greenpeace UK is well known for having a presence at Glastonbury festival and we have been getting involved with more and more festivals over the last few years. We now have over 100,000 supporters across the UK. Face to Face fundraising is one of the best ways to inform the public about urgent issues we work on and inspire them to support us; direct debit donations are critical to our work as we do not accept any funding from governments or corporations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training, coaching and support of staff including staying up to date with campaign developments
  • Recruitment of staff including implementing new teams
  • Management of Team Leaders and Fundraisers to achieve targets / KPIs
  • Reporting & admin including closely monitoring and reporting results
  • Facilitate weekly meetings, monthly reviews and personal development for all Team Leaders
  • Organise and manage transport of festival kit

The successful candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated their ability in leading successful Face to Face Fundraising teams
  • Experience in recruiting, training and developing staff
  • Experience in closely managing and reporting KPIs
  • Knowledge of the UK fundraising market
  • A valid driving license (with no more than 6 points)

The candidate must be comfortable with camping, spending the majority of their time away from home, and being flexible in terms of hours- particularly when working at festivals.

Hours: 35 Hours a week, varying hours, varying days

Pay: £26,000 on target earnings per annum
