CPRE Hampshire are the countryside charity for Hampshire, campaigning for a bright and sustainable future for the county. They use an evidence-based approach to work with all decision makers to enhance and protect a thriving countryside for all to enjoy. With the generous support of their volunteers and members, CPRE Hampshire seek to be a positive and proactive partner in the future development of the county. As the local branch of the national charity CPRE, they work with their colleagues in London and county branches across England to realise their collective mission, and have a string of impressive campaign wins including the creation of the South Downs National Park.

The vision for CPRE Hampshire is to become the 'go to' charity for countryside issues in Hampshire and they are now looking for a new Executive Director to lead this next stage of their development.

The Role

CPRE Hampshire are looking for an enthusiastic and optimistic change maker with a passion for the Hampshire countryside. With excellent leadership and communication skills, the Executive Director will be responsible for shaping the future for the organisation, with overall responsibility for strategic and operational management, fundraising and partnerships. membership and volunteers, as well as campaigns and communications

The Person

Experience and attributes to include:

- Exceptional project management experience

- Strong leadership and team management experience

- Strong evidence of working at a strategic level, and managing budgets

- Passion for the environment and commitment to the CPRE mission

- Energy and enthusiasm with the drive to lead the team

- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills

- Full UK driving license with access to own car

- Experience of working with volunteers, and working within the charity sector (desirable)
